Is Profhilo® a filler?

No. Profhilo® is hyaluronic acid but the kind that disperses through the skin rather than sitting in one place. It doesn't add volume or change the structure of your face. It improves the quality of the skin itself.

Is it suitable for all skin tones?

Yes. Profhilo® works with the skin's own biology and carries very low risk of pigmentation issues across all Fitzpatrick skin types.

How quickly will I see results?

First visible changes usually appear from around four weeks. The full effect of a course is typically seen at eight weeks, with continued improvement as the skin remodels.

Is the treatment painful?

Profhilo® uses very few injection points, which makes it well tolerated. A topical numbing cream can be applied if you'd prefer, but most clients are comfortable without it.

Is there any downtime?

Minimal. Small raised bumps at the injection sites may be visible for a few hours and usually settle within 24 hours. Most clients return to normal life the same day.

Weeks 1–4 The hyaluronic acid disperses through the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin. First subtle changes in hydration and texture become noticeable.

Weeks 4–8 The most significant change in this window. Improved hydration, elasticity, and texture. Skin looks healthier and feels firmer. The second session is usually scheduled at week 4.

Week 8 onwards Full effect of the course is visible. Skin quality, radiance, and elasticity all improved. Maintenance typically every 6 months.
