Terms Of Service

1. About SKN Rx

SKN Rx is an independent, expert-led skin service operated by Amy Carrier, Advanced Facialist and Aesthetic Practitioner. Treatments are provided following consultation, assessment and suitability, in line with professional standards and current best practice.

2. Appointments & Booking

All appointments must be booked in advance. Availability is subject to change, and bookings are confirmed once payment or deposit (where applicable) has been received.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the information provided at booking is accurate and up to date.

3. Consultation & Suitability

All treatments are offered subject to consultation and assessment. This allows suitability, skin behaviour, medical history and risk factors to be reviewed.

SKN Rx reserves the right to decline, postpone or modify a treatment where it is deemed unsuitable, unsafe or not in the client’s best interests.

4. Medical & Health Information

Clients must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, skin conditions and recent treatments prior to their appointment. Failure to do so may affect treatment outcomes and safety.

SKN Rx cannot be held responsible for complications arising from undisclosed or inaccurate information.

5. Results & Expectations

Skin responds individually to treatment. While care is taken to support skin health and quality, results cannot be guaranteed.

Regenerative and skin-first treatments work progressively over time. Individual responses, healing rates and outcomes will vary.

6. Aftercare & Responsibility

Aftercare guidance is provided following treatments and forms part of the overall protocol. Clients are responsible for following aftercare instructions as advised.

SKN Rx is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance or from external factors beyond control.

7. Cancellations & Late Arrivals

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made with appropriate notice as outlined at the time of booking. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiture of the appointment.

8. Payments & Refunds

Payments are required as stated at booking. Due to the nature of personalised services, treatments are non-refundable once provided.

Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

9. Privacy & Data

Personal information is handled in accordance with data protection regulations. Client details are used solely for the purposes of providing care, communication and record-keeping.

10. Professional Boundaries

SKN Rx operates with clear professional boundaries. Treatment decisions are made based on clinical judgement, skin health and client safety at all times.

11. Changes to These Terms

SKN Rx reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The most current version will always be available on the website.
